TAV NETWORKS’ END OF 2022 HIGHLIGHTS

TAV Networks has been working diligently throughout the second half of the year to meet important deliverables for our clients.

In July, TAV Networks submitted a 900 MHz Cisco FAN RF Canopy design for the Costa Rican utility, CNFL. This new design provides coverage for their RTUs and collectors in located the cities of Central and Guadalupe. This effort marks the 5th and 6th cities that TAV has submitted design for in addition to the cities of San Jose, Desamparados, Escazu, and Heredia. We have had the pleasure of working with our partners in Costa Rica over the last several years, and we are very proud of this new milestone.

In November, our experts at TAV Networks helped PG&E with an RF Feasibility Study, where RF and cellular coverage measurements were gathered throughout PG&E’s South Bay and San Francisco territory with a focus on large underground or enclosed gas meter rooms.

Continuing our commitment to excellence in our partnership with the Port of Oakland, TAV Networks has finished 2022 strong having selected, tested, and implemented new MDMS, as well as provided guidance on how to modernize Port systems. We are excited to see what 2023 holds!

Mid-year 2022 Project highlights!

We started the year strong with completing work with one of our regular collaborators, PG&E, in December 2021. TAV completed an RF remediation design for PG&E’s Tropos network in Bakersfield, California. We performed laboratory tests on both the Tropos devices and their antennas, and then used these updated performance results to redesign and remediate Bakersfield network’s issues.

In June, we just wrapped up an 8-year engagement with Baltimore Gas and Electric. During those 8 years, TAV Networks provided Laboratory Testing, Field Engineering, RF Network Design and Optimization as well as Project Management to assist BGE with their 2 million Gas and Electric Meter AMI deployment. We feel very privileged to have worked with BGE, and thank them for 8 years of collaboration in our endeavors to assist with their meter deployment.

Our work with the Port of Oakland into Summer 2022 progresses well; we continue to advise and support their infrastructure projects, helping them replace outdated systems and update their processes as well as provide them with guidance on how to plan for the future.
